What are the compelling reasons, other than cost, to use DO instead of Azure?
I ask as a long-time DO user with no significant experience of Azure. Sometimes people ask whether their data can be stored on Azure (due to name recognition and a perception of reliability and security).
If money were no object, what would be the reasons to choose DO over Azure?
And, for balance, what are the arguments in reverse?

To me, DigitalOcean provides a super user-friendly GUI, launches server faster, takes snapshot faster, server performance slightly better. Azure provides much more tools and features, more regions.
Luckily, I don’t have any server run into issues on both platforms so hard to tell the stability and security part.
