DNS - Domain Configuration

Posted on January 30, 2019

Hello. I’ve conducted some research; but as I haven’t resolved the situation yet - I figure i could as well open my own thread.

I have a domain server bought and hosted from “Loopia.com”. This is the zone-file: $ORIGIN bestbuds.se. $TTL 300s @ SOA ns1.loopia.se. registry.loopia.se. ( 1548818762 3H ; Refresh after three hours 1H ; Retry after one hour 1W ; Expire after one week 1D ) ; Minimum one day TTL

@ IN 3600 NS ns1.loopia.se. @ IN 3600 NS ns2.loopia.se.

@ IN 3600 A 188.166.37.117

www IN 3600 A 188.166.37.117

This is the nameserver.config: DNS-server 1 *

ns1.digitalocean.com DNS-server 2 *

ns2.digitalocean.com DNS-server 3

ns3.digitalocean.com

It weren’t till now I realized that the nameserver config isn’t part of the zone-file; but it’s in seperate sections on Loopia. (One menu is called DNS-editor, which zone file belongs to - one is called Nameservers"

On D.O it looks like this: A www.bestbuds.se Copy directs to 188.166.37.117 Copy 3600 Copy More A *.bestbuds.se Copy directs to 188.166.37.117 Copy 3600 Copy More NS bestbuds.se Copy directs to ns1.digitalocean.com. Copy 1800 Copy More NS bestbuds.se Copy directs to ns2.digitalocean.com. Copy 1800 Copy More NS bestbuds.se Copy directs to ns3.digitalocean.com. Copy 1800 Copy More

IIRC, whilst setting up the One-Click Wordpress I entered both “www.*” and “bestbuds.se”. Is there anything I can/shou
