DNS records not refreshed

Hello I created a new droplet and moved 1 domain to it. Then edited the IP information as appropriately. This is the domain https://stchr.com.ar/ this is the IP address http://198.211.106.98/ Please let me know what can be done.

Based on this DNS lookup https://www.digitalocean.com/community/tools/dns?domain=stchr.com.ar dns record

as of Jun 05, 2020 14:11 UTC your DNS record is still showing 162.243.168.196 to be the destination A-Record for strchr.com.ar

You can also see there is a 3600 second TTL on that DNS setting.

TTL or Time-to-live is a value in seconds that indicates how long a record should be cached for before being checked again.

Has it been more than an hour since you updated the record?

If not, wait an hour and check again, it could just be that the different DNS providers have cached the old setting based on the TTL specified.

Hello all,

All DNS changes might take up to 48 hours in order to fully update. This is due to ISP DNS cache and general DNS propagating as well. This usually happens a lot faster but will still take at least a few hours to fully update.

You can monitor the DNS propagation with any websites like https://www.digitalocean.com/community/tools/dns and https://www.whatsmydns.net/ just select the desired record type A or MX and then click the Search button. It will show you a DNS record check from various points around the world. This will help you to see if there is a DNS misconfiguration or if it’s just the DNS slowly updating.
