Do the nameservers required a period at the end?

I’m a bit confused. The screen after I add a new domain looks like this; note the periods at the end.

However, the tutorial here doesn’t have the periods at the end.

In my domain registrar’s control panel, do I include periods or not?

Hey there,

When adding the name servers to your domain registrar’s settings, you would not need the trailing period. The trailing period you see required in the zone records is related to formatting and some DNS providers/systems add that automatically or hide that aspect of the formatting.
