If I remove a Droplet from a load balancer’s pool, could that cause an in-flight request to result in an error? Or is there some kind of calm-down period where my app is allowed to finish the work it’s already started and return a response?

I have the same question. It would be nice if there was a way to “drain” the connections to a droplet under the load balancer.

How do I temporary disconnect a droplet from balancer for upgrade ?
I could not find any info on this.
