Domain or a subdomain is already owned by another user error on adding a domain to droplet

Few days back I have created a droplet and associated a domain name to that. For some reason, that droplet got deleted.

Now, I’m trying to set up a new droplet with the same domain name. I’m getting the error Domain or a subdomain is already owned by another user.

Could you help me with this, it would really help if the domains added in DO shows up at a single place. Am I missing anything here. Please let me know.

Did you try to check the “Networking menu”? There you should be able to find all your domains added to digital ocean. https://cloud.digitalocean.com/networking/domains

The system performs a DNS lookup to see if the domain has already been added to DigitalOcean. If it has, you’ll receive a message that says Data domain example.com: Name already exists. If the domain has not been previously added to DigitalOcean’s DNS service, it will be added.
