Domain setup for Microweber after one-click install?

I started a new droplet for Microweber and pointed the a record of the domain address in the DNS to the IP address. It has been more than a day, but the website doesn’t load using the url. Is there something else that I would need to do get this to work? Editing a config file, ssh, or something that I cannot find in the backend settings?

Hi there @CEB,

Microweber is a great opensource website builder, I’m a big supporter of the project.

I’ve just tried setting up a new Microweber Droplet from the DigitalOCEan Marketplace, then I pointed a test domain name to the Droplet’s IP address and it worked as expected.

What is the exact error that you are seeing?

Also note that if you’ve made any recent DNS changes it could take up to 24 hours for the DNS cache to clear over the Globe.

Hope that this helps! Regards, Bobby

@bobbyiliev, Thanks for the quick response! It’s good to know that you only have to point the domain in the DNS. I guess I have “Godaddy issues” with my DNS not resolving. I’ll have to get them to check out things. I recently added new MX records and a subdomain before pointing to the new Microweber droplet, more than 24hr now. I’m looking forward to trying something new vs using Wordpress for this site.

Thanks again!

I created a droplet with Microweber. I can’t access with Https, only Http. Tip: inside the droplet in /etc/ssl/private there is the ssl-cert-snakeoil.key I don’t know what to do to make my domain a secure site with https.
