Domain works on Safari but not on Chrome

Posted on September 5, 2021

Hello, I connected my domain to a droplet. It seems to work fine on Safara but not on Chrome. Any idea what the problem is?

Hello,

I could suggest a couple of things:

  • Try clearing your Chrome browser’s cache

  • Try installing a free Let’s Encrypt SSL certificate so that you could visit your website via HTTPS as well as HTTP. Sometimes Chrome would redirect to HTTPS by default and if you don’t have an SSL your website would not load:

Let me know how it goes! Regards, Bobby
