Question

Droplet Console

Hello everyone, I have a problem with accessing my droplet. Below is the message that I got from digitaloccean.

“To enable the Droplet Console, log in to your Droplet as root or as a user with sudo access. Once connected, download and execute the agent installation script with the following command to enable the console immediately”

Thank you

Hi @noeurnkrol,

So, what DigitalOcean have urged you is to use your Droplet’s console, you can read more about how that is done with steps to replicate it here:

https://docs.digitalocean.com/products/droplets/how-to/connect-with-console/

Having said that, if you don’t have access to your Droplet, I’ll giving this docs a read:

https://docs.digitalocean.com/products/droplets/resources/recovery-console/

It’s titled How to Regain Access to Droplets using the Recovery Console. The Recovery Console provides out-of-band access and is available regardless of your network settings. It emulates the access you would have if you were sitting down with a keyboard and monitor attached to the actual server. You can use this feature to log in and revert bad settings to regain normal access.
