My droplet that is hosting a wordpress website seems to be down/up at random times.
My NameCheap domain registrar configuration has custom DNS:
ns1.digitalocean.com ns2.digitalocean.com ns3.digitalocean.com
Droplet configuration in DO:
Type: A Domain: realfreefiregenerator.com Directs to: 67.205.180.33 TTL: 3600
Type: NS realfreefiregenerator.com Directs to: ns1.digitalocean.com. TTL: 1800
Type: NS realfreefiregenerator.com Directs to: ns2.digitalocean.com. TTL: 1800
Type: NS realfreefiregenerator.com Directs to: ns3.digitalocean.com. TTL: 1800
What is the reason I can not access my website on the public web? When trying to access it I get an error: “DNS_PROBE_FINISHED_NXDOMAIN”

Hey there!
It looks like that domain is not using DigitalOcean nameservers but Namecheaps.
--Name Servers--
dns1.registrar-servers.com
dns2.registrar-servers.com
As such the DNS settings you have set in your DigitalOcean domains settings won’t have any affect on that domain.
If you recently switched those nameservers back to Namecheap this could be caused by propagation issues. You could reach out to your domain registrar to verify that.
Hope it helps! Nate
