I get the following ERROR code while trying to upload a plugin: Error while checking for update. Can’t reach update server. Message: Forbidden
I have Ubuntu 14.04 with lamp stack installed.
I changed php.ini file to allow max upload to 64MB. Did not work.
While I’m uploading optimizepress theme, it waits for a long time and then chrome notifies that no data received.

Have you restart Apache after editing php.ini?
