external bind/named to get zones from ns1.digitalocean.com

is there a way to add a slave nameserver that would be allowed to download zones added under https://cloud.digitalocean.com/networking/domains
it does not need to be deligated, its just to have a backup of sort. so a ACL would be enough.

I believe this is not available out of the box. Also AXFR should not be available and you won’t be able to use a traditional DNS
allow-transferACL.DigitalOcean offers multiple nameservers (ns1, ns2) to provide redundancy and high availability for DNS resolution. Queries to your domain are spread across these multiple servers, helping to manage load and ensuring that your domain remains accessible even under high traffic conditions.
