Faster load websites

Posted on October 12, 2013

Hi All,

I run a Wordpress website. I want it make faster load. But DO is running on SSD. Does it matter if i install APC on Apache and or do this in combination with W3 Total Cache Plugin?

The SSD is this flash drive fast enough and is it not needed to install APC and/or W3TC?

You should install APC and W3TC/similar even if you’re running on SSD.

If you want WordPress to load faster, dump Apache in favor of Nginx, e.g. How To Install Wordpress, Nginx, PHP, and Varnish on Ubuntu 12.04.

Also, I would agree w/Kamal that W3 Total Cache will increase performance, despite your site running on SSDs.

Thanks… So APC uninstall and install Varnish, otherwise i have 2 cache applications running
