I’m using a MySQL DB instance and I use Trusted Sources to filter who can access to this DB instance.
All is great so far. My home IP is also included in the Trusted Sources, however, it sometimes changes, like temporary power outage, router restarts due to configuration changes, etc.
In these kind of cases, I need to add new IP address which is totally fine but I can’t know which was the previous IP address.
I thought it would be better to label the IP addresses in the Trusted Sources list so I can easily replace them when they change.

I find it a very interesting idea.
A few months, another user suggested the following idea: Add alias to whitelisted IPS. I hope it gets the green light :)
