Function fails to initialize when adding LOG_DESTINATIONS

I’m deploying a function using node:24 which is a very simple script. I’m calling it from http or invoking it from the cli and works perfectly. But as soon as I try forwarding the logs to betterstack or datadog, the function cannot start anymore. The only log I see is

stderr: Command exited abruptly during initialization.

Nothing else. What I’m trying is just adding:

environment:
  LOG_DESTINATIONS: '[{"logtail":{"token":"MY_TOKEN"}}]'

into the project.yml. I’ve also tried adding the env var through the webUI without luck either.
