There is an automatically generated API key named ‘genai’ with full access to all buckets whether they’re used with GenAI products or not. If this key is deleted it it is automatically recreated. What is the purpose of this? Why GenAI need access to all buckets? And why does it need write access by default? I assume GenAI needs read access to buckets used to create knowledge bases, but why would it need full access to all buckets?

Hi there,
Good question, if the genai
key is auto-created with full access and there’s no way to scope it down, it’s worth flagging. I’d suggest opening a support ticket with DigitalOcean to get clarification or request more granular control: https://do.co/support.
