Droplets need to be in the same data center for Load Balancers and Floating IPs. So technically you’re only protecting yourself from local server hardware failures. Network, weather, and geopolitical issues will affect availability.
So I presume the answer to that is setup another set in a different datacenter and failover to them if the main set goes down, then use DNS failover or maybe even round robin.
