How are managed updates ?

Posted on May 5, 2014

Hi all. I’m reading the features offered by digitalocean, and I’m interested. I didn’t find an answer of this question, sorry if it is written elsewhere.

If I subscribe a plan, how are managed the updates ? either the operating system and php, mysql, etc etc ? (obviously I think to update myself all final applications in php, like phpmyadmin, wordpress, etc etc ).

It’s up to me ? There’s something in the panel to update all with a click, I have to access from a consol ? Can I add a cron job on your machine ? Can I add a cron job on my machine to send a command to your machine ?

Thanks in advance and sorry for my english
