Hello, @rumahnutrisi

Are you trying to add the CNAME from your Digital Ocean control panel - https://cloud.digitalocean.com/networking/domains

Could you please let me know if the issue is still occurring?

Regards,
Alex

  • Hi, @alexdo

Yes I’m add it from Digital Ocean Control Panel > Networking.
And yes I still get the issue right now.

    thanks

    • Hi, @rumahnutrisi

On DigitalOcean, CNAME records have the following fields.

HOSTNAME, which should be set to the subdomain prefix for the new alias you want to create.

IS AN ALIAS OF, which should be set to the hostname where the alias should point. For the alias to work, the hostname must have an A record or be handled by a wildcard A record. This can be:

      • The apex domain (@). To map a apex domain, like example.com, enter the @ symbol.
      • A subdomain (e.g. site.example.com). Setting an CNAME record using DigitalOcean DNS looks like this:
Hostname IS AN ALIAS OF TTL
      staging @ 43200

If you’re still getting an error, feel free to submit a support ticket and provide me with the reference number so our support team can look into this!

      Hope this helps!

      Regards,
      Alex
