I want to change my droplet’s ip address, because it’s in the red lists of the mail servers. So how can i do that?

This is a question that pops up occasionally in the community.
Have you tried sending emails when you’ve noticed that the current IP address is blacklisted/listed? Some of those lists offer a free and quick release from their database and sometimes it’s a matter of seconds to get the issue sorted.
If you can share more information about the issue we can try to get this sorted without the need of changing the IP address of the droplet.
If you want to create a new IP address for an existing Droplet, you need to recreate the Droplet.

Unfortunately, it’s not possible to change the Droplet IP address however this is a workaround. To receive a new IP address, take the following steps:

In the future, you can use a floating IP address, which can be unassigned and assigned to a different Droplet whenever required.
