Question

How can I have two domains point to the same website on DigitalOcean

  • Posted November 14, 2014

I want to have a landing page at www.firstdomain.com

And the regular website at www.seconddomain.com

I will serve only the one page to www.firstdomain.com so I don’t want an complete WP install etc for one page.

Can I do this in DigitalOceand and if so how ?

so when I type in www.firstdomain.com in my browser, I will end up at www.seconddomain.com (my browser address will show www.seconddomain.com)

does that sound like what you want?

Another question: how many websites are you running on your droplet? Just the one? Or do you plan to have others?

Hi,

So when you type in www.firstdomain.com you will see the url for www.firstdomain.com but the content will come from the seconddomain.com.

I think I might need WordPress set to multi-site. What do you think?
