This guide will walk you through the process of installing and setting up Minecraft PE server on Ubuntu 16.04.
I don’t have much experience with the specific requirements for the PE edition server but generally for the standard Minecraft server you’d want to use the 4GB droplet plan to allow the server to use 3GB and in this configuration it should support 20-50 players.
We allow you to quickly resize your droplet from the control panel so it’s generally a good idea to start small and test for yourself. Then you can resize to a larger plan as needed from the control panel with just a reboot.
