I’ve purchased wordpress hosting from digital ocean and I’ve developed a whole site there, however, my client decided to have the website hosted at his servers in Godaddy, my question is how can I transfer the build of wordpress I’ve developed to Godaddy servers? Would really appreciate a step by step guide!

Disclaimer - I run Product for Hosting at GoDaddy. :-)

Have you tried the importer that is part of the standard install? Feel free to ping me: and let me know things like which WordPress you’re using (Managed, Shared, V/DED) and I can get you a step by step guide.

Download the Files and upload them on Godaddy.

Upload the Database to their SQL Server and change the SQL configuration in WordPress.

Change DNS Configuration !!!
