How can students of our bootcamp receive the digital ocean credit that is offered to university students through github?
I work for DevMountain, a Utah based Web Developer bootcamp. I have inquired with GitHub about being able to get our students access to their educational pack, with the main goal being for them to be able to use your $50 credit that is offered. I’ve read through a lot of the questions and responses about educational discounts, and know that in all of the ones i’ve seen, someone just throws in a link to the GitHub education program. Unfortunately, our school is not able to provide .edu email addresses to our students, so the only way to get the education bundle would be for someone to fill out a form for each student that comes through our program. While it is possible that we could automate part of that process, it is clunky and overly complex for the students. I am reaching out in the hopes that we can find a way to work together to get these same education benefits for students of bootcamps who invest a lot time and money into learning web development. I’d love to chat with you more about this, and am really looking forward to hearing back from you about anything we can do to make this work for everyone involved.
Hope you have a wonderful day :)
