I’m using functions to deploy one of my APIs but I need it to have a static IP address or at least a small range of IP address so I can whitelist them for my web app. Do I connect the function to a droplet and then have the droplet reserve an IP address?

Hey,
I believe that this is not possible at the moment, the egress traffic from functions cannot use dedicated egress IPs and their own addresses can change at any time.
The best thing to do to get your voice heard regarding this would be to head over to our Product Ideas board and post a new idea, including as much information as possible for what you’d like to see implemented.
An alternative option for you would be to either use the App Platform with a web component or a Droplet.

Hope that helps!
