Hi Dudes,
As I’m using high volume disk for my application. My application which performs high end I/O operations ~5MB write operations per second. I have allocated the attached drives to some non relational database.
But now with in short period of time the drive is exhausted due no space which in turn is stopped my DB server.
In future also it is expected that I/O operations might increase gradually in that case It will not feasible to take a snapshot/backup to ensure the server availability .
For such case I need to increase the attached SSD or can I attach any additional drives to this instance.
Please suggest some optimal solution to resolve this issue.

At the moment, it’s not possible to increase a droplet’s disk space without increasing all of the other specs (RAM, CPU, and bandwidth) along with it. You can upgrade your droplet to a larger plan (with more disk space) by taking a snapshot of it and then re-creating it. Take a look at the following tutorial:
