How do I run iRedMail and Apache VirtualHosts On the same VPS?

Posted July 8, 2014 4.2k views

I installed iRedMail on my Ubuntu 12.04 x64 VPS. I have seen that it makes changes to the default and default-ssl config files.

But I wish to host multiple sites on my VPS. Any ideas on how to do it?

You can proceed as normal: How To Set Up Apache Virtual Hosts on Ubuntu 12.04 LTS. The default and default-ssl virtualhosts do not affect other virtualhosts.

This tutorial shows you how to set up a new directory, how to grant the correct permissions, how to add content to a new page, how to turn on virtual hosting, and how to, if needed, set up local hosts. Virtual Hosts are used to run more than one domain off of a single IP address and allows you to run multiple sites off of a single DigitalOcean droplet. This tutorial describes how to set up virtual hosts with Apache.
