Hello @bigelectricbluemantaray

If you’re not running any droplet like cPanel, Plesk and etc that comes with a built-in File Manager, you’ll need to upload the file via SFTP using a client like FileZilla or via the command line with tools like rsync, scp like already mentioned from KFCys.

Hi @bigelectricbluemantaray,

There are a couple of ways to do that, the easiest one would be using SCP/Rsync from your Laptop as it wouldn’t need any other configuring. The other would be using an FTP client like FileZilla to connect to your Droplet and upload the file.

Here is detailed documentation about FileZilla and DigitalOcean:

https://docs.digitalocean.com/products/droplets/how-to/transfer-files/

Regareding SCP or Rsync. You just need to have SSH access to your Droplet. In your terminal, you need to enter the following command:

  1. scp /path/to/ads.txt root@YourDropletIP:/path/to/your/website's/folder/.
