I’m going to create a private network to hold my Application Droplet and Database Droplet and I need to use Spaces for additional file storage.
The documentation states that private networks are not accessible from the Internet. Does this include Spaces? I can’t seem to find any documentation to clarify on this.
Thank you.

I received a response from Digital Ocean about this:
Spaces won’t directly interact with private networks, however your droplets can communicate securely with Spaces over the public network, and any data transfer that occurs between Spaces and droplets could then be communicated within your environment using private networking.
Private networking is useful when you want transfer data safely between servers or reduce outbound bandwidth usage, like when protecting database traffic or transferring log files to a central location. However, Spaces are an object storage implementation, use cases like databases, applications written in server-side languages, and mission-critical applications will work best with local storage or block storage.
