How long (approximately) would it take to restore a 10GB Ubuntu 1GB RAM image? I would test it but not able to at the moment.

Hey friend,

This is a great question, thank you for asking it. The honest answer is that I can’t say. I would like this to be within 1-3 minutes, and that may be a reliable average. With that said, it depends on the workload on the NAS, the hypervisor, and the network. There are variables that impact this which you cannot calculate.

If I were automating something that depended on this, I would expand my expectations to 10 minutes and see how that worked out. I’m being incredibly cautious with that figure.
