I am trying to add a cloudfront CNAME reference for an existing domain name. I need to redirect my entire domain to cloudfront so I try to enter @ in the name field but get an invalid CNAME error.
What am I missing?
P.S. I have removed the A record already.

Hi there,
Generally speaking, you can not add CNAME records for your root domain name. CNAME records are meant to be used for subdomains.
There are DNS providers like Cloudflare though, that make this possible.
In case that you need the CNAME record for your root domain, I would recommend changing your DNS to Cloudflare:
