How to automate user creation, ftp accounts, host clients folders, add domain etc...? Server manager.

 • Posted April 26, 2014

Well, I’m in need of create some websites for my clients and possibly maintain this websites hosted at last for six months. So that’s why I need something automated.

Basically my need is having a server manager. I’d like to use Virtualmin to manage my hosting server. But I have a lot of doubts about it. Does it need branded or vanity Nameserver? (

Does it attend to all my needs? Almost everything automated

Well, VirtualMin’s Installed and working as I can see it…

P.S.: and is on different servers.
Last question buddy, I’m using to host virtualmin.
My is on another droplet (one that I used to manage manually). Now, I want to bring it on to virtualmin.

What should I do? Just point over DigitalOcean DNS Panel to my virtualmin droplet IP and create a new “server” on virtualmin?

I didn’t have to configure anything special. I set up my domains in the Digital Ocean DNS control panel, and did the standard Virtualmin installation.

You didn’t have to configure anything special?

You don’t need to do anything with name servers using Virtualmin. I manage mail for a few domains using Virtualmin. I use only Digital Ocean’s name servers and DNS management.

There’s other servermanager that dont need branded nameserver?
