How to configure SMTP to send a mail with PHP?

Posted on June 14, 2014

Hello guys,

I ask for help cause I can’t send mail with PHP in my virtual domains. I have installed iredmail on my droplet and hosted a virtual domain for the mail server. I can send a mail with success from my gmail account to the mail account created in iredadmin, no problem. The problem is to send with PHP, the code said I can’t connect to SMTP. I have tried a lot of mx configurations (hahaha) I don’t know how to configure MX (without mx configuration I already can receive mail) but I don’t know how to configure the smtp to php “mail()” or phpmailer use.

Cheers! I love you!

Hi @jacksonbenete, did you ever find a solution to this? I’m having the same problem!

Thanks!
