You can follow the steps on how to do that in this article here:

It is important to keep in mind that you should use the latest PHPMyAdmin version as it might not work out of the box with some outdated versions.

Alternatively, an option here is to install PHPMyAdmin manually instead of using the apt command as described in this tutorial here:
