How to install Already signed RapidSSL ( certificate on Ubuntu 16.04

I already have signed SSL certificate with Rapid SSL through, I received server certificate, CA certificate and root from them.

I have checked different guides here but all of them provide you .csr that you use to sign and ssl. but I already have an SSL.

My question is how to install this to my server. Do I still need to generate .csr and .key files on ubuntu as explained in a tutorial

And should i follow everything there? Or do I have to skip something?

How did you got SSL cert without .csr? There is docs for obtaining cert and it does require .csr if you don't use hosting.

To obtain CSR you need to follow tutorial you linked - How To Install an SSL Certificate from a Commercial Certificate Authority.

Make sure you didn't followed this steps Setting up an SSL Certificate hosted with us - as this doesn't work with any provider.

My website is already working on another host. I want to transfer it to this host. I generated that SSL for that host. Do I need to buy another ssl now?

There is no option for reissuing it on As this is RapidSSL certificate, can I do it directly at RapidSSL website?

Never worked with or RapidSSL, but you if you can manage cert from RapidSSL site, go ahead and try it.

If not, look around is there support, hopefully they can help you with cert.

In case you can't reissue it, you could be out of luck, but we'll try to find fix. =)
