Hello, I’ve just realized that my whois lookup information contains some contact information that I don’t want public. I don’t believe that my phone number, address, and personal email be exposed to the public for just anyone to see. I haven’t been able to find any resources on how to change this on DO or Google. Can I hide some of my personal information from the whois directory, and if so, how?

This question was answered by @newhosting2015:
This is usually done at the registrar when purchasing your domain. Some registrars charge extra for whois privacy and some registrars offer this service for free. Contact your registrar and ask if you can get this added, if not, you could always transfer your domain name to another registrar that does offer this service for free, such as Namesilo.
Good luck.
