Your Droplet shouldn’t disappear after the trial bonus you have ends. It will start billing as usual.

If someone removed the droplet from the account this will be different as it might have been deleted or “moved” under another account. You can check internally with members of the team if someone manually removed the droplet or created a snapshot and recreated the droplet under different account.
