Posted on June 8, 2016

So I have a domain registered in AWS. I have updated the name server for the domain as,

ns1.digitalocean.com ns2.digitalocean.com ns3.digitalocean.com I have my app running in the digital ocean server. My domain is basicspace.org. Following is my setup in digital ocean but, the domain doesnt point to the server.

A @ 159.203.209.68 CNAME www basicspace.org NS ns1.digitalocean.com NS ns2.digitalocean.com NS ns3.digitalocean.com

What else needs to be setup, cause the domain is not pointed and its been several days my site is not shown in the domain and digital ocean is already charging me. Help me on this

everything seems fine from Digitalocean end. but your name server is still pointing to the AWS nameserver

ns-1306.awsdns-35.org
ns-1600.awsdns-08.co.uk
ns-398.awsdns-49.com
ns-643.awsdns-16.net

So i would suggest you to check your aws control panel to set DO nameserver properly.

Additionally, if everything is setup correctly on the DO side, it might be worth double checking for any possible typos that may prevent the DNS from being set up correctly.
