Hi there @zionnite555,

I would recommend starting with this guide on how to create a Droplet here:

https://www.digitalocean.com/docs/droplets/how-to/create/

Once you have a Droplet, I will suggest going through the initial server setup tutorial here:

https://www.digitalocean.com/community/tutorials/initial-server-setup-with-ubuntu-20-04

Here is also a step by step video guide on how to do that:

Once you have your server setup, you can then decide what services you want to install. For example, if you have a WordPress website you can follow a tutorial like this one here:

https://www.digitalocean.com/community/tutorials/how-to-install-wordpress-with-lamp-on-ubuntu-18-04

Here is also a collection of all of the getting started tutorials on the DigitalOcean community site:

Hope that this helps!
Regards,
Bobby

WordPress is the most popular CMS (content management system) on the internet. It allows you to easily set up flexible blogs and websites on top of a MySQL backend with PHP processing. In this guide, we'll focus on getting a WordPress instance set up on a LAMP stack (Linux, Apache, MySQL, and PHP) on an Ubuntu 18.04 server.
