How to upgrade my MYSQL to specific version

Hello, Now i use mysql version 5.5.53 ( on ubuntu 14.04.1 ) i want to upgrade there to 5.6.29 ( not latest version just only v. 5.6.29 ) how can i do that ?

You can use apt-cache policy mysql-server and see which versions are available depending on repo you’ve configured at /etc/apt/sources.list then copy version number to install if that is available like

apt-get install mysql-server=5.6.29

(Use sudo if not root) I don’t actually recommend this as it might break things if you’re using mysql with php, phpmyadmin etc
