I was just following the digitalocean site on installing ESLint and it is the most comprehensive one I have found. Thank you. Is it possible to set ESLint to check javascript as a HTML file? ie, javascript with html headers and tags so it runs immediately in VSC Live Server. There are words on StackOverflow but I got lost in it all. Sorry for the awkward terminology, I am a beginner.

I believe that you can do that by editing your <projectfolder>/.vscode/settings.json fila and adding the following:

"eslint.validate": [ "javascript", "html" ]
}
