Our domain is from Godaddy, we have change dns as told and got confirmed from go daddy that the dns is changed. But we keep getting 404 github error when we login. We also have put the correct domain on digital ocean. Does anyone know why ?

It seems you haven’t configured your WebService’s configuration file for your domain properly. Can you confirm what WebService you are using, it’s should be either Nginx or Apache.
If you are not certain how to check it out, you can do so by following 2 easy steps.
- SSH to your droplet
ssh root@XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX
Where XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX is your droplet’s IP address.
- Once inside, execute the following command to see what service is listening to port 80
netstat -tulpen | grep 80
Please post the output here so that I can provide you with additional steps to continue.
