I have a php Laravel project. I installed MySql. How to download the database into a file using mysql dump? When I try it, it is throwing user don’t have permission error.

You would need to specify your username and password in the mysqldump command as follows:
mysqldump -u your_username -p your_database_name > your_database_name-$(date +%F).sql
