Ubuntu WordPress DigitalOcean

My domain is tuyensinh.com
I installed Wordpress (Ubuntu 14.4) with my IP but it does not show my domain name, only the ip address showed the Wordpress page. I logged in as admin, went to Settings - General and change the site address to my IP but it does not work. I also pointed the Godaddy DNS to ns1. ns2. ns3.digitalocean.com Please advise how to fix it.

I also wonder how I can add more domains to this IP with Wordpress installation.

If you would like to use your domains for your website you need to do a few things:

  • Modify the domains nameservers to DO
  • Create VHOST’s for your websites. This could either be on nginx or apache, but these handle the domain lookups.
  • Create your sites for the domains.

You can read all about this here. If you got any more questions don’t hesistate to ask again.

This tutorial will show you how to set up WordPress Multisite with subdomains on an Nginx web server. This allows you to run multiple unrelated websites, with their own domains, from a single WordPress admin panel.
