Install server using LVM on root partition

Is it possible on DigitalOcean to install a server to have the root partition on lvm so I can attatch a volume and expand the root partition.

This sure would be nice. With Elasticsearch 8 you can no longer spread index storage across multiple volumes, which will force me buy much more mountable disk storage while I leave 90% of / disk space unused. Please give us LVM flexibility in this area.

Same question here. Beating my keyboard to death trying to figure out a solution. Why hasn’t anyone commented on this in a year’s time? Yikes!
