Question

Is DiOc DNS required for subdomain?

I want to launch a meteor app for a client on Digital Ocean and let them route traffic to it from a subdomain on the client domain (newapp.client.com).

Is getting them the IP Address of the droplet and instructing them to fill in the A-record and CNAME with their registrar enough?

Thanks!

Solved by discovering the host (dream host) and using the droplet’s ip in a tutorial for custom subdomain setup.
