Is it possible to apply Firewall rules to a Load Balancer?

I have a “DO Managed Load Balancer” in front of my droplets, and want to only allow certain IPs to access my website. I saw DO’s “Managed Firewall” feature that can be created and applied to a Droplet. But since the service is accessed via the LB first, set a Firewall rule for the Droplet doesn’t really help.

So I am wondering is there a way that I can create a “DO Managed Firewall” and apply it to my Load Balancer? or maybe there is but I might have missed it?

you could set some allow/disallow rules on IP ranges through Google’s Cloud Armor Security Policies (Use case / How to) by setting the target on the backend service of an HTTP load balancer
