Is there a limit on the number of files in a droplet? (node limitation)

Posted on November 4, 2015

I am unable to use shared hosting because my node limit is in the hundreds of thousands and grows daily as I run a news site that posts updates every 30 minutes along with photos, etc. I am wondering if I should go with a cloud setup or just get a dedicated server.

The number of available inodes depends on size of the disk size. You can use the command df -i to check available, used, free inodes. I checked the smallest package and it had 1310720 available inodes.
