Requirements (from details page): VPS running recent versions of Mac OS X or Linux. 500 GB of free disk space 4 cores of CPU and 8 gigabytes of memory (RAM). A broadband Internet connection with upload/download speeds of at least 1 megabyte per second
Which DigitalOcean product should I go for and why? I am new to cloud computing so any and all help would be appreciated.

What I could suggest here is using the $40/mo Droplet as it covers your RAM and CPU requirements:
- 8 GB
- 4 CPUs
For the 500GB Disk requirements, I would recommend adding a 500GB block storage to the Droplet:

With that you will fully cover the requirements.
