Multiple IPs and increase Disk Space

Posted on May 31, 2013

Hi, I was wondering what my options are if i need to use multiple IP’s on the same droplet. Is there a way i can configure a proxy on slave droplet in order to use it’s IP on the master droplet?

Also what if i start with a 40GB droplet, and after some time i want to increase it’s space, what’s my option in this case?

Keep in mind that any solutions you give me i need to work in CentOS/WHM/cPanel environment. Thank you.

We currently do not support multiple IP addresses under the same droplet. As for droplet space, if you ever need to increase it in the future, you can upgrade your plan and transfer your files over.

Hi,

We do not currently provide the ability to add more than 1 public IPv4 IP address per virtual server. This is due to the worldwide limited availability of remaining IPv4 address space but we are looking into this request to see if we can make adjustments in the future.

If you would like to increase your space you can take a snapshot of your droplet and create a bigger one of desired size (60,80,160,320,480,640,960GB).
Alternatively you can setup GlusterFS between your droplets and pool available disk space.
